Should Sarah Palin have a fox show called “Goin Rogue”?
If she really wants to run for President, how can she possibly catch up to Mike Huckabee in the polls?
http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/64383-poll-gop-losing-touch-with-base
Or would other name might she pick? Such as “Saturday Night Dead”?
“Russia From My Backyard”?
“Ex-Governor Go’in Commando”?

What the heck is Mike Huckabee up too? Have you seen his countdown?
http://www.mikehuckabee.com/
Runs out on the 15th. maybe he just wants to make sure we pay our taxes? lol.
But seriously, my first thought was -
Vice Presidential announcement.
and my second thought was –
Third party run (that would sure make sense why he was staying in the race for so long. Building up his name and getting supporters. It would also prolly be a good way for him to sell a bunch more of his books, even if he couldn’t win..and maybe he actually could pull some votes from McCain and Obama with the recent controversys)
Woah, looks like he’s got a speach at Cornell about religion and politics. Maybe he’s going to start a “Christian” party like they have in Europe!

The GAY news-Ryan White’s mother welcomes chance to discuss AIDS with Mike Huckabee- have u read this article?
Jeanne White-Ginder, the mother of Ryan White — who attracted nationwide attention after contracting HIV from a tainted blood treatment in 1984 and died at the age of 18 in 1990 — said she welcomed the opportunity to speak with Republican Mike Huckabee to discuss his comments about AIDS. “I think if we meet I’m going to give him one of Ryan’s books,” she told The Advocate, referring to the book her son authored about his battle against AIDS.
White-Ginder requested the meeting after Huckabee, a former minister whose presidential candidacy has recently caught fire, defended his 1992 statement that the federal government needed “to take steps that would isolate the carriers of this plague.” Speaking on “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, Huckabee declined to retract the comment but said he was not suggesting that AIDS patients should have been quarantined. He did not offer an alternative explanation for how people living with AIDS at the time could have been isolated.
White-Ginder also hopes to bring with her some folks who are living with AIDS. “They’re very responsible, they’re back to their jobs because of the meds, and I would just like him to see the new face of AIDS today. It really saddens me to think that they don’t have a presidential candidate’s support. We have to respect the disease and the people who have it.”While campaigning in Iowa on Tuesday, the former Arkansas governor told the Associated Press, “I would be very willing to meet with them. I would tell them we’ve come a long way in research, in treatment.”
Though Huckabee’s meteoric rise in the polls nationally and in the early primary states has put his record under greater scrutiny, White-Ginder was surprised there wasn’t more of an “outcry” about his recent comments or even the statement he made back in 1992. “It was a big disappointment really, because a presidential candidate even referring to that information in 92 was unrealistic,” she said, recalling the early
when people initially thought that casual contact involving by kissing, tears, sweat, and saliva might spread HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. “We fought so hard — and I’m not just saying me and Ryan — to get us where we are today. I just think as a presidential candidate, we really have to be watchful of what we say and do because you are going to represent all of us — and yes, you’re going to represent all our people with AIDS if you are our president.”
White-Ginder said that getting information out about AIDS and HIV has been particularly difficult because of “the religious and moral issues that have always surrounded the disease.” Especially in Southern states and other conservative areas of the country, she added, “we haven’t been able to make it real to people that everybody is at risk for this disease. Now, some people are at higher risk, but this is everybody’s disease.” An estimated 550,000 people have died of AIDS complications in the United States up through 2005
White-Ginder tends to lean toward supporting Democrats but added that she works with legislators on both sides of the aisle and said, “I have a great deal of respect for both parties.” Her biggest concern in the race for president is not electing someone who advocates for abstinence-only education in schools and public facilities rather than educating adolescents about birth control, condom use, and the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.
“As a mother who has been involved in this AIDS epidemic for so long, I hear the stories, I see the faces, I know what kids are doing, and it’s not what we parents ideally would always want them to do,” she said. “But we have to be real, we have to get real with the disease. And we have to be able to speak about it at church and at home and in schools.”
The Huckabee campaign did not respond to a request for comment. (Kerry Eleveld, The Advocate)

Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, or Mike Huck? Who do you think would be a better candidate for the Republicans in 2012?
Ron Paul, Mitt Romney or Mike Huckabee, who do you think would be the best Republican candidate in 2012? (I am not sure if Ron Paul is still a Repulican)
I would say Ron Paul but he is 73 years old right now, way too old to be president in my opinion.

Are you a supporter of “Christian Fascism” in America?
Abstracted from Roller’s Diary at http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2007/1/28/92125/7257

“When fascism comes to America it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross.”(Sinclair Lewis)
On Monday, the 35th anniversary of Roe V. Wade, George W. Bush played to the sacred fetus crowd with his annual phone call to anti-reproductive rights activists. pandering to the so-called pro lifers
That Bush finds it necessary at this juncture to continue to cater to the whims of the extremist Christian Right speaks volumes as to the disproportionate amount of influence that religious fringe holds over American policy.
Radical clerics like Falwell and Dobson and their ilk are deferred to and treated as king makers for any potential political candidate willing to pucker up to kiss Dobson and Falwell’s rings and derierres.
The extremist elements of the Christian Right need to be stigmatized and isolated as the cancer on free society that they truly are and not embraced by charlatan politicians pandering for votes.
Take a moment to recall that the Nazi party was small and close to ignored early on while the “Constitution Party” is the third largest party in the U.S.
Note that the recently declared Republican Presidental candidate, ex Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee has called for taking America for Christ.
No need to obsess about Theocracy yet but vigilance would be prudent.

Are there real Atheists or only Anti-Christians calling themselves atheist?
I agree with Mike Huckabee, who said on his book tour via Fox News that atheists shouldn’t be fighting for a holiday in December when they already have a holiday: April Fools’ Day (a holiday also grounded in sacred Scripture, “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no god’”)?

Do you believe that by faith Mike Huckabee can win the presidential election?
Mike Huckabee is the only one whose faith is truly built upon the rock of Jesus Christ (God’s son). The others are upon their treasures or themselves. I think with his and mine faith in God he can succeed to fill George W. Bush’s king sized shoes. He will lead our country as it truly is, in the principles of God. Mr. Huckabee is the mosty godly candidate of the four (Just as Mr. Bush) and his faith upon the rock that shall ever stand, Jesus Christ the rock of ages. The greatest definition of faith is in the Holy Bible in the book of Hebrews chapter 11. There is no greater definition of faith than that. By faith I believe Mr. Huckabee can suceed his turmoiled chance just as by faith the Isrealites escaped the egyptians. By faith David defeated Goliath. By faith Daniel wasn’t attacked by the hungry lions. Hungry lions is what the 3 other candidates are and they want our presidency. Have the true faith in the only true and living God, Jehovah God of Heaven, creator of all existance.
Hebrews chapter 11 vs 1-4 1Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2This is what the ancients were commended for.
3By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
Chapter 11 vs 32-34 And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel and the prophets, 33who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, 34quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies.
These passages are where we stand in USA. By faith in God we can be out of it. Mike Huckabee the godliest contender of the 4 is in turmoiled chance compared to the other 3 but by faith he can succeed and win our presidency. God is stronger than those bad prospects.

What do you think of this Republican nominee who doesn’t know about evolution?
Anyone else concerned by this? So now the earth is 6 days old ?

Huckabee: I’m not writing a science book
WASHINGTON (CNN) — Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, an ordained minister who has said that he does not believe in evolution, said this type of question should not be asked of someone running for president because he is “not planning on writing the curriculum for an eighth-grade science book.”
“If they want a president that doesn’t believe in God, there’s plenty of choices,” Huckabee said.
He added, “My point is, I don’t know. I wasn’t there. But I believe whether God did it in six days or whether he did it in six days that represented periods of time, he did it. And that’s what’s important.
“But you know, if anybody wants to believe they’re the descendants of a primate, they’re welcome to do it.”
After he finished his answer, Huckabee received loud applause from the audience and praise from his Republican rival Sen. John McCain.

I don’t think that religion should be involved in politics. A scientific theory is not hypothesis; it is supported by evidence. Creationism, especially the 6-day type, is a horribly anti-scientific position that involves religion alone. If the guy is going to be in charge of financing government education, not to mention foreign policy issues, I want to make sure he has at least has an understanding beyond the preschool level.
Ok San Fran, so he’s honest about his nuttiness. But it’s hard to believe that he can pander to the basest form of ignorance and still win votes.
Note: he avoided stating his specific views on the issue, but confined that to a 6-day creationist “period.” That’s more extreme than what most of the intelligent designers say. But I’ll give him credit: Now I can vote against him in advance of the elections.
Baseball Girl: I say this nicely: If you’re going to argue a scientific position, you need to understand the terms.
Evolution is supported by the fossil record and DNA evidence.
You’ve been lied to about the meaning of a scientific theory. It is not a mere guess:

Yikes! Didn’t realize the firestorm this would create.

Should the Republicans nominate Sarah Palin for 2012 so that Obama can win in another landslide?
It looks like whoever the next Republican nominee is for 2012, Obama will win in another landslide. Who should it be?
Sarah Palin?
Mitt Romney?
Mike Huckabee?
Charlie Crist?
Rudy Giuliani?
If it was any of these candidates, Obama will probably win in a bigger landslide than he did this year. Who should it be?
2012 republicans
Wow, is the list of potential Republican candidates in 2012 shrinking or what?
I mean, 2012 isn’t for 3 more years, and the Repubes are already running out of candidates…
- Jon Huntsman: Works for Obama now. OUT.
- John McCain: OUT
- Sarah Palin: OUT
- Bobby Jindal: Made a pathetic speech about Obama’s stimulus plan. OUT
- Mike Huckabee: Won’t win outside the Southern states since he’s a moronic conservative. OUT.
- Mitt Romney: He’s Mormon, so he loses 25% of the vote. OUT.
- Michael Steele: Would be playing the race card. OUT.
- Rush Limbaugh: OUT.
- Newt Gingrich: How many times has this guy been married and divorced? OUT.
Lmao, who are the Repubes going to run in 2012? Barney the Dinosaur? He’s better than the rest of the party.
