When Sarah Palin is president in 2012, will she have a GOP majority on Congress to work with?

the_wife_from_7th_heaven asked:

Obama is losing support already, the Democrats are going to be voted out, and it’s up to Sarah to fix the messes that the Democrats created. So will she have a supermajority while she works to undo all Obama’s failures?

When the Republicans inevitably take charge in 2012, can something be done to the Socialized Heathcare bill?

Evil Magistrate asked:

Should Socialized Healthcare disease America, can the President or Congress do anything to rid the bill, since it will take years to implement this program? Plus, can taxpayers get their money back through stimulus paychecks from Republicans, who will again take charge in 2012?

What would happen if 6 months before Obama’s term was up in 2012 and the republicans controlled congress?

Sally2dicks asked:

And a supreme court justice died. Could the republicans keep turning down his candidate until a republican president got into office?

Why is the Left thinking “You Lie” will cause them to pass this healthcare bill?

Honest Rob asked:

The liberal media is buzzing with claims that Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) shouted “You lie!” as a unification of the left to push through this healthcare plan. They mistakenly thought that since Wilson apologized for his outburst, that he was admitting he was wrong. The liberal media even went so far as to claim the healthcare bill will not cover illegal aliens.

We know, as well as Wilson still knows, and states so to this day, that there are no provision to prevent illegal aliens from getting healthcare out of this bill just like the rest of the citizens. There were two amendments here which would have enforced prevention of illegal aliens getting on the healthcare plan, and we now know the Democrats shot them both down.

A rule not enforced and has no provision to be enforced isn’t prevention.

It’s clear there are no provision to detect or prevent any illegal alien from getting the healthcare that is proposed. I think it is devious on the White House’s part to suggest it is anything but a lie that no illegal aliens will receive healthcare under their current bill.

Who do you think is lying… Obama or Wilson?

And do you think for a minute that Wilson doesn’t still believe Obama lied?

I think we will have a low fewer Democrats in the next congress if they go against the citizens on this. They didn’t learn a thing from the town hall meetings and hope the media is telling them the truth that what they saw they didn’t see and it was simply a setup deal from the RNC.

Would ObamaCare pass if he and Congress lead by example instead of do what we say?

CaptainFreon asked:

Think about the times of old where kings were royalty. They told their serfs “take what we give you, for we have it much better.”

Think of the times of today where congress are elitists. They tell the people “take what we give you, for we have it much better”

Now read the link, 15 billion of taxpayer dollar to the elitists already, and congress gets the gravy for life, even if they serve only one term.

ATTENTION LIBERALS: Accept the same as the people, or give the same to the people. What will it be you elitist liberals?

Put congress in the same boat and guess what? VIOLA! The boat floats!

Yes. But isn’t is so ironic? What this liberal congress is doing by being an elitist, is just what they accuse the Republicans of!

Why are 54% of people now saying no to Obamacare?

Obama Hood – Spread the Wealth asked:

Thirty-five percent (35%) of American voters say passage of the bill currently working its way through Congress would be better than not passing any health care reform legislation this year. However, a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that most voters (54%) say no health care reform passed by Congress this year would be the better option.

Obama won with 52.9% margin of victory in 2008. A larger percentage of the population do not want this health care plan than voted for him. So should they just shut up already on this topic?

Congress under the Obamacare Bill?

dragunov asked:

I understand that Senator Tom Coburn proffered an amendment to the proposed universal health care package that would have required Congress be a part of the bill and give up their lifetime coverage they now enjoy. Gee, can you believe it? Shock! They rejected the amendment! Seems to me that if this plan is so good, they’d be willing to apply the “coverage” to themselves. But then again, maybe I am reading to much into this. Understand from CNBC that one congressman who is a supporter of the health care bill, laughed and told a reporter that he would not sign up his dog for this plan. What are your thoughts? Shouldn’t congress be compelled to be subject to the laws they pass for everyone else?

Liberals, please answer these questions for yourself on Obamacare?

rz1971 asked:

Under the current bill being discussed in congress:

1. If I’m on the government plan and I get a job that offers insurance, can I switch from the government plan to the company plan? Or similar issue, if after the bill is passed can I switch insurance plans or companies?

2. Will this bill actually lower my insurance costs beyond 10 years from now, say like in 20 or 30?

3. Will this current bill remain ‘cost effective’ in 20 years? 30 years? And beyond because all I hear is for the next decade.

Why did Obama LIE when saying the AARP approved Obamacare?

Englishman in Kentucky asked:

Care to provide a link please famous?
President Obama yesterday suggested that the health care reform legislation for which he’s pushing has been endorsed by the American Association of Retired Person.

“We have the AARP on board because they know this is a good deal for our seniors,” the president said.

The country’s largest advocacy group for Americans over 50 issued a statement after the event saying, “While the President was correct that AARP will not endorse a health care reform bill that would reduce Medicare benefits, indications that we have endorsed any of the major health care reform bills currently under consideration in Congress are inaccurate.”
