Mitt Romney huge comeback..as of late in the polls! Would mark Sanford make a good VP or is he the candidate who could come out of Iowa like Huckabee.

    • Brad says:

Romney. Are u kidding me? All I have to say is “who let the dogs out? and “bling bling”. This guy is completely out of touch.

Ron Paul is the onlt one on here that is different. The rest of these hacks work for the same people and have the same agenda… and it ain’t good for america!

  2. Sean M says:

Don't know people are voting for Ron Paul he'll be too old and I doubt he really wants to mess with Presidential politics again.

    • Joe K says:

He will not be too old, he is in great shape and he has stated that he is still thinking about running in 2012. With the huge movement still growing and still supporting him I suspect he will make one last run at it in 2012. I know all us Ron Paul followers are already working for a successful bid in 2012.

  3. admin says:

Ron Paul represents strong fiscal responsibility, has a strong and many active supporters.

  4. Kim A. says:

Mitt Romney is definitely popular amongst the more conservatve republicans. His failed attempt for the presidency in ’08 has just made him more well known and loved, and has certainly increased his chances of victory in ’12. I would say another rising star in the republican party is Bobby Jindal. Many great conservative thinkers wanted him to make a run this election cycle but he declined saying that he felt that for now his duty lay with governing the people of Loisianna. With a dream ticket like that, Republicans will have a outstanding chance to reclaim the presidency.

  5. admin says:

I still think Mark Sanford has a good shot, if Ron Paul throws his supporters his way.

    • Laura says:

Silly fellow, have you not noticed? Ron Paul is too much a gentleman to throw anything, not his principles nor his supporters.

Besides, after Obama’s false pretenses, people might actually be ready to hear some honesty. The Republicans and Dim o crats will do everything to silence him.

And then there is the true Rhino mindset. It will be Jindal that is pushed. You know, just to prove that we are not racists. You know how it shakes down… soooo funny.

  6. admin says:

Looks as if Bush is considering a 2010 Senate run in Florida, could set up a good 2016 run for President!

  7. D. Smith says:

Romney is just another socialist who brought compulsory health insurance to Massachusetts.

  8. politicalWatcher says:

definitely the man who delivered 4000+ babies and predicted the recession correctly while McCain and Romney were saying the economy is all fine & dandy
Also the ONLY Republican politician who didnt endorse McCain
    who is he?
    RON PAUL

    • peterPlu239 says:

I wrote in Ron Paul in ’08, but somehow he has to overcome the stigma of being perceived as a bit eccentric. ANY one for the Republicans but not Sarah Palin, against the master showman she does not stand a chance. Jindal, seems like a good choice, GOP PLEASE start now getting behind someone, keep on bringing the message to the public of the huge debt yoked to my children and grandchildren, and of the promises already broken by the President, that the constitution stands for state’s rights, limit the intervention of the Government to that tacitly granted by the Constitution. Bring the message that Fiscal responsibility does involve pain and work, and that the easy way out is the wrong way. We – the current generation have this economic mess – why on Earth would we cast the blame and burden of it to the next generations? The whole concept is crazy, but it is not surprising how much the public will swallow when the spin of fear is used to force down the “red” pill.

  9. Griffin says:

With the way the economy has been going we need Mit Romney.

    • Joe says:

Really? Can you tell me anything really good about Romney? How is he a really conservative about economics? On the mourning of the Florida primaries,he was on a radio show, and said he was against bigger tax cuts then Bush gave. With an answer such as this, how would Romney be good for the economy?

BTW…He suddenly went pro-life three months before anouncing his bid for the whitehouse.

    • Griffin's Grandchildren says:

Please don’t do that. Simply go back and watch any of the debates and compare Romney to Ron Paul. Ron Paul is dead on and Mitt Romney doesn’t have a clue. Romney is a big government hack, what most of us call a Neo-Con. Romney vs Obama = another 4 years of big Government

We need to shrink the size of Government immediately so we don’t all starve. Romney doesn’t even understand the Constitution and believes the President has the right to declare war, he said he didn’t care about the legalities of the subject and would let the “lawyers decide”

Ron Paul is the only answer, no compromises, it is the constitution, until the Republicans realize this, we are doomed. Wake Up America. Do you notice that little by little every media personality that shunned him sounds more and more like Ron Paul these days. Hannity, Beck, Rush all echo Ron Paul, they just don’t admit it.

  10. Heinz hedrick says:

    ya no good people again

    OBAMA 2012

  11. Mark says:

I’m going to watch Mitt Romney completely embarrass that piece of shit Barack Hussein Obama in front of his kool aid drinking cultists in 2012 by beating the living bejeebes out of him in every debate and then finally on election day.

1-20-13 Our long national nightmare is over.

  12. Nick says:

I am a registered Republican, but I will be voting third party in 2012 unless Paul or ex-NM gov Gary Johnson run as Republicans. I am still holding out for Jesse Ventura to run as an independent.

  13. Cherry says:

Ron Paul 2012, the rEVOLution is only delayed. Freedom in our lifetime. Can you imagine. Please wake up all the sheeple. The two parties are two heads on the same coin. Pray christians pray.

Libertarian Christain conservative,, Imagine feedom in our life time.

    Cherry Davis

  14. Mike Allard says:

I tried to vote in your poll. It says I have already voted….I have not. I attempted to vote for Ron Paul. Is there something going on here? Hmmmmmm.

  15. Scott Hamilton says:

Ron Paul for 2012. Mit t Romney is George Bush the II. No way, no how. Everybody is battling against Gov run HealthCare, MassCare is failing and costs are throught the roof. Obamamites will stick with thier Mesiah until eveything is gone and we are all slaves.

  16. Kerston says:

Why on earth with all of the fuss from the right about the Obamacare plan would all of the rightwingers want Romney? His plan that is not working in his state is very similar and he is a lefty playing to the right.
I don’t get it. Is it because he’s pretty? What has he done or said that is worthy of all of this admiration?
This is the sort of thing that has ruined the republican party. They will vote for whomever they think can beat a democrat even if it is wrong, So sad. Why don’t they vote on principal and policy’ You know for someone who has intelligence, integrity, and policies that actually go along with what republicans are supposed to stand for. Small Government, lower taxes and a humble foriegn policy. Oh but they lie about that (Bush) and they still love them. Hey Republicans! You have to admit your problems and mistakes before you can fix them! There is only one true conservative on that list.

  17. Kerston says:

Seemms the republicans here haven’t learned a darn thing from thier past mistakes . God help us,

  18. Ron Paul is the single best candidate to run for anyone who still cares about individual liberty, free markets and peace. As the true heir to Jefferson's legacy he understands that:

"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned – this is the sum of good government. "

He is still very strong and of exremely sound mind, body and spirit. But when his time does come, his son Rand will be there to take his place.

  19. non says:

I liked Sanford until he shot himself in the foot with his stupid scandal… now he’s got almost no chance, unless Obama really screws up….

So, even though he’s old, Ron Paul is an easy choice…. other people I’d consider supporting would be Mitch Daniels (Governor of Indiana), Jim DeMint (Senator of South Carolina), or Gary Johnson (former Governor of New Mexico).

  20. If it is Ron Paul Obama is going down !

  21. Hoffer says:

Romney supported the TARP funding. That’s all I have to say about that….

  22. Nick says:

Ron Paul 2012 for real ‘change.’ Change away from statism and back to the Constitution, that is!

  23. Audria says:

You guys who say Mitt Romney is what we need, you’re really, really out of it.
Obama sucks, Romney sucks, Jindal sucks, they all suck.
Except Ron Paul, the ONLY person who is strong enough to not be swayed.

    RON PAUL 2012!

  24. patrick says:

YOU KNOW I'D ACTUALLY SUGGEST ALAN KEYES OR JUDGE ANDREW NAPOLITANO OR JESSE VENTURA. BECAUSE AS BIG A RON PAUL FAN I AM, I THINK AT THIS POINT HE WANTS TO BE MAYBE AN ADVISOR NOT SO MUCH MAKE ANOTHER RUN…BUT I DON'T KNOW. DEFINITELY NEED A LIBERTARIAN OR CONSTITUTIONALIST NOT ANOTHER NEOCON OR NEOLIB.

  25. Peter Vasseur says:

Your all a bunch of idiots, if you think anyone other then Ron Paul and maybe Sanford give a crap about you and the Constitution. Did you forget these are all the same people who ran the show during the bush years. Said everything was great when it wasn’t. They sure the hell didn’t care about the constitution then, you honestly expect them to now yeah right. If anything they helped us get to where we arew today. Obama is just making it worse. You all need to wake the hell up from your fantasy land. Apperantly your all still stuck on this whole left right paradign. It a two headed one party monster. When you have all the same policies, but call yourself by a differnet name are you really any different HELL NO! The sad thing is you all have been fooled for the last 100 yrs. Its about the idea not the partisan crap. Untill a true statesman is running the show it doesn’t matter whos president. Most you need to read some more history books.

  26. Samba says:

Those of you who don’t like the GOP or the democrats need to look at Ron Paul. If you look at what he stands for, his voting record, freedom, liberty, free markets and the like you will realize he is the only one running who actually has an agenda for Freedom instead of Fascism or Socialism.

  27. Larry says:

Ron Paul should be the logical choice. If the voters stop this insane loyalty to party and became loyal to principles of humanity then we could move back in the direction of Liberty. My country tis of thee sweet land of Liberty…. , that is what makes this nation great. Most of us are centrist in viewpoint, and if we all stopped voting for the lesser of two evils and voted for the most trustworthy, honest and intelligent person in politics. We need more people in government that will not sell us out to the corporate institutions that now control our government. Ron Paul has ideas that show a solid understanding of what is happening and what will happen next if we don’t change the way we deal with our problems. If you care about what type of world you will leave to your children please educate yourself on this great american. It not wasted time!!!

  28. beesting says:

Of course Ron Paul, the only candidate that will stop the wars, abolish the IRS, re-instate honest money,
and bring real sanity back to America.

  29. Unitedstrokesofamerica says:

They will not let Ron Paul have a shot at a title match. The truth will come out on top every time. Romney will be a puppet of the global elite banking cartel just like Obama is now and Bush was before him.

BTW DONATE TO THE RAND PAUL MONEY BOMB TODAY.

    INFOWAR$ ( d 0T ) C0m

  30. Rex says:

Sigh. … some poll. I cannot vote on it because the obvious is missing. A third party candidate that supports "Single Payer" health care reform.

I'd like to hope that Jesse Ventura takes up that position and runs in 2012. If that is the case, I'll vote for Jesse.

  31. pearl says:

It’s time the people get a real choice instead of candidates chosen by those already in power. THE PEOPLE WANT RON PAUL!

  32. klingtocash says:

Can't see why people would vote for Romney after he helped Massachusetts become the poster child for Obama care. The MA health care system is a mess and it's starting to affect the surrounding states.

I'm supporting Ron Paul. We've got a historic opportunity to take the country back. Let's take advantage of it. Return the country to it's Constitutional roots.

  33. Curtis says:

Ron Paul??? And be the laughing stock of the Dems when the trot out his quotes on extra terrestrials & such?

<Do *you* believe? The truth is out there!>

  34. dnlchisholm says:

Mitt Romney 2012! If you don't know why, go to http://www.MittRomneyCentral.com

  35. Joe says:

It depends on what Mr. Limbaugh considers conservatives. Are conservatives the Lindsey Graham type, who believe that winning is everything,no matter what your true politics are?If he means real conservatives who are principled in their beliefs, then we need to take the majority off of that poll. Most of the guys on the poll are NOT conservatives.
