Mitt is a good choice if we are still in a economic crisis. Will be interesting to see if he can continue support over the next couple years without fading away.

Mitt Romney, in my mind, is the only choice the GOP has, and he is an amazing choice at that. Gov. Sarah Palin clearly is not nationally electable, Gov. Jindal really will not get the support nationally he needs, and he still is too young. We need someone like Mitt.

Mitt Romney is by far the best possible choice for both GOP candidate in 2012 and the next President of the United States of America. I agree that support for him will be higher if we are still in an economic crisis, but I'm sure that anyone who understands Mitt's platform would support him anyway. As in "Gov. Mark Sanford" the one that cheated on his wife, then lied about it ? YOU have got to be kidding. NONE of the "Christ. Right" would vote for a man that commited those acts.
Regarding the "mess" we are in, it was "Geo. W. Bush" and his lowering taxes and out of control spending is what put us here. Yes Fmr. Pres. Clinton made some mistakes in this area, but at least he left ofc. with the Econ. in the positive and not the negitive.

I sure hope Palin is the nominee. That would be great for 30-35 % of the GOP…the rest of us not so much. Do you really want to win in 2012? Huntsman may be the best choice. He is less abrasive to Independents and some Dems.
I think Mitt seems to have the best chance against Obama. But I can’t see the Christian Conservatives voting for him. I don’t think he will get the nomination.

Obama inherited a democrat caused problem. We have Jimmy carter and Bill Clinton to thank for this mess. First the creation of the Community Reinvestment Act by carter, and then the expansion by Clinton.

does any GOP person realize that beginning with the Great depression and all recessions since have presided over by the GOP. Reagan and his trickle down caused Bush1 to raise taxes and lost his re election bid. So much for Republican fiscal responsibiltiy
I'm with Mitt, who else can fix this ailing economy, restore our military, fix the space program and keep America great? Certainly, NO-bama has no clue and is tearing this country apart with his socialist agenda. Sure feels like a Carter in the White House again.

I'm a conservative Christian too and I would vote for Mitt Romney if he ran against Obama in 2012. He should have gotten the nomination with Alan Keyes as his Vice President last time! But maybe that would be too much conservativism for the public to handle…LOL! I don't care that he's Mormon. His reputations stands for itself. He' got awesome credentials to be a President! I would trust him in the White House!
Mitt will DESTROY Barack in the 2012 election! Obama has absolutely NO experience handling ANYTHING in the real world, aside from some Chicago-machine organizing. Mitt has experience building and managing several large scale companies, not to mention repairing the Salt Lake City Olympics– if he could clean up the corruption in that mess ALONE, he's already 2000 times more qualified to lead our country!
