Colbert vs Obama in 2012 Presidential Election?

Stephen Colbert has reportedly been rumored to start a grassroots campaign to continue his 2008 run. If the reports our staffers have learned are correct. Organizers of the Colbert campaign are initiating a four year plan to challenge Obama in 2012! Could he be the Republican candidate to prevent Obama from becoming a two term president? He may be a simple host of a small syndicated show, could he gain more support than other celebrities have gotten of the past. Or is Obama that much of a celebrity himself that only a celebrity like Colbert could beat him. Could we all look forward to the Colbert report live from the White House every night.

I have no doubt Stephen Colbert would be a good President for the United States. At least the way our government works today it seems to me that the President is just a diplomat and spokesperson for the USA. That being said I truly believe Barack Obama will do a good job as well, but I think we better wait until 2012 and see how well Barack does. If he does well why fix something that isn’t broken ya know. Besides we’ll need someone to run in 2016, well that is if the human race exists after 2012, hmmmmmmmmm.
