Why do people have this illusion that Bill Clinton balanced the budget?
If you want a new slogan, it should be “If you think Bush was bad, just wait til Obama is done!” And no one should be happy about it. When Stephanopolous says Clinton balanced the budget, uhm, NEWT GINGRICH and the republicans balanced the budget, and Clinton signed off. The republicans didn’t say no, they offered their own plan, and it creates more job, less money, and not one single Dem voted for it.
