I think that Mike Huckabee is the candiate to beat Hilary Clinton. Do you agree?
“Kh a a a a a n n” ! ! asked:
I think Mike Huckabee is the guy who can get out the vote with the GOP and bring the party together. He’ll bring back the evangelical Christians and also galvanize the support of conservatives.

But Hilary Clinton is divisive. Many dems will stay home on election day.
Say hello to President Huckabee!

Anyone is the candidate to beat hillary
She is unelectable

No, Huckabee raised taxes in Arkansas and pandered to illegal alien criminals. Huckabee is NOT my candidate!
Obama News
I can’t wait to see the Huckster become the Republican candidate.

I don’t know about that… “President Huckabee” sounds too backwoods for most people.

Huckabee is a tax-raising hypocrite. He pimps his beliefs. I find him revolting.
Mrs. Clinton is worse, of course.
Huckabee is the Jimmy Carter of the Republican Party.

Why do you assume Clinton will get the democrat nomination? Do you know something fishy that the rest of us don’t? Also, according to polls, Huckabee is probably the only republican not capable to beat Clinton, in case she unfortunately gets the nomination. I hope NONE OF THOSE TWO gets nominated (total arrogance and unlikability, as well as mixing religion with politics, are never good for any country).

Be cautious of Mike Huckabee. A recent article by the Little Rock AP discussed a lawsuit filed against Huckabee for using emergency funds to destroy computers. He also soliticted the Mexican government to put an embassy in Little Rock, to be paid for by the taxpayers of Arkansas. Not to mention he released hard-core criminals from prison, saying it was due to overcrowding. Violent offenders should remain behind bars, and overcrowding reduced by effective leadership in fighting crime. He, like George Bush, is reaching out to evangelical Christians because he wants their vote – so beware of a wolf in sheep’s clothing…….

No. Huckabee is a conservative democrat pretending to be a republican. The only thing that aligns him with conservative republicans is: He is anti abortion, anti gay marriage and is very religious. That’s about it.
He is liberal when it comes to crime, immigration, on smoking bans and other nanny state issues (banning certain foods), he is on the man made global warming alarmist band wagon (and the scary mandates and regulations that come with it), and is not very conservative when it comes to taxes (although he is better than any of the democrats on taxes). Three of the republicans trying to get the nomination are to liberal/moderate for my taste: Huckabee, McCain and Guiliani
Sage: Yea he advocates the Fair Tax, but he knows damn well it’ll never get passed. Even if it does, the 16th amendment would have to be repealed. He advocates it to appear to be more conservative than he is. I also disagree with your assessment that it is regressive. Our current progressive income tax is economically regressive. And why the hell can’t you people spell my name right? It’s ADOLF with an F not Adolph.

No, I do not agree. It took only a couple weeks for him to make this big surge and it took no longer to hear about things he has said and done that make you wonder if you must have heard them wrong.
*Being so ignorant in 1992, when anyone paying the least bit of attention knew the basics of contracting HIV, that he was talking about and pushing isolation.
*His denial that he asked the parole board to give special consideration to the man who was released and then raped and killed a woman shortly thereafter. There’s actually a letter from him regarding it and completely credible officials who will swear on a Bible that he did request this, but he still denies it. And then he actually tries to blame it on Bill Clinton. WHAT???
*The worst problem he’s got is being a Baptist preacher. He sounds just so reasonable and even handed when he calmly explains that he would never make his faith part of his campaign. I heard him say this myself, and I thought how novel that would be if it were only true. Then I saw his new slogan, in which the first word is “Faith.” Faith, Family, Freedom. Lovely slogan. Except it directly contradicts what I just heard him say. He said it with some heat I might add, and used an affect that conveyed he was almost insulted by the suggestion he may be tempted to blur the line between government and religion. I think there is a significant portion of our population scared to their toes by the thought of putting an actual Baptist preacher in the Oval Office. We’ve already had one that claimed God specifically wanted him to attack Iraq, and he’s not even a preacher.
If you think Dems will stay home while the Republicans vote in this guy you are truly dreaming. Don’t be fooled. 90% of Democrats who don’t care for Hillary will be voting for her if the choice is between her and any Republican. More so if that Republican happens to be a Baptist preacher who doesn’t believe in evolution and will continue the current government’s war on science. You know how the Republicans have been saying that they hope the Dems nominate Hillary because it guarantees them a victory? It’s not true, and if they underestimate her it will be the worst mistake they’ve ever made. But if Huckabee gets the nomination? Their prediction will indeed come true, in the reverse.

Huckabee wants everyone with HIV and AIDS to be sent off like they did with people that had leprosy.
Doubt that’s going to go over well with people.
And besides, he won’t get the nomination.
My guess is that it’ll be Romney vs Clinton
And Clinton will win.
mike huckabee
I cannot imagine an easier candidate to beat than Huckabee. A 19th Century throwback religous fanatic advocating more of the same failed foreign policy as well as even more regressive taxation is simply not going to win
The Hillary is divisive nonsense is just Republicans trying desperately to stop her getting the nomination. She is leading every poll in the field – hardly a sign she is unelectable.
So go ahead and nominate Huckabee – you couldn’t make 2008 any easier.

Huckabee isn’t my favorite. I don’t believe he’s a fiscal conservative and his recent Iran speech was ridiculous. I don’t think he’s the guy although I totally believe that Hillary Clinton is very beatable. She needs to lose her Wicked Witch of the West cackle laugh. It isn’t charming, it’s scary.

Could we please have a normal president instead of another one that evokes God at every opportunity.
