I noticed that GOP Gov. Charlie Crist ditched a McCain campaign stop last week so that he could go to “DisneyWorld” instead.

I find this whole concept of early voting very interesting. I never heard of holding a mini-election before the actual election, complete with polling sites. I assume they keep all these ballots that are cast early in some safe place so that none of them get lost or tampered with before they count them on Election Day!!!
I am just surmising of course this whole process that is going on in Florida is news to me. Other states have provisions for absentee ballots if voters are unable to get to the polls, or will not be in that town or city on Election Day. the ballots are either sent in or delivered to the City Clerk, Town Clerk, or some designated Election Official. Who are all these people who need to vote early anyway and what will they be doing on Election Day???
This procedure has the potential to facilitate election fraud. All these people who vote early in Florida, and indeed all the people who vote by absentee ballot all across the United States of America need to be checked up on to make sure that they do not vote in some other locality, city, or town, or even some other state or states on Election Day.
There is a real possibility here for double or triple voting, or even more than that if a person has a residence in more than one state. This could indeed happen because several states have relaxed the requirements for residency.
COULD DOUBLE AND TRIPLE VOTING BE DEFENDED AS LEGAL IN A COURT OF LAW???? This is a very good question. The whole idea runs counter to the basic principles of democracy!!! This however is not the point, we a talking legalites here, not priciples. THIS WHOLE IDEA IS VIOLATIVE OF THE FOUNDING PRINCIPLE UPON WHICH THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WAS BUILT!!!

IF WE EXPECT TO BE ABLE TO SELL DEMOCRACY TO THE REST OF THE WORLD, WE SHOULD BE EXPERTS IN QUALITY CONTROL; MEANING THAT OUR ELECTION SYSTEM SHOULD BE THE MOST FAIR, MOST FREE, AND COMPLETELY ACCURATE IN THE COUNTING OF VOTES CAST ON THE ELECTION DAY BALLOT!!!!!!
